The Young Women Teaching Peace is a peer to peer community that aims to accelerate the localization of the Women Peace and Security WPS and Youth Peace and Security YPS Agendas in Nigeria by meaningfully empowering young women to become agents of change.
Through the Young Women Teaching Peace Community, UNYPD will be supporting girls and young women in underprivileged and conflict areas with resources and mentorship to enhance their full participation in community engagement for peace.
