Ranking Report For Nigeria. This ranking was done by Basic Rights Watchand five other partners.The ranking measures compliance of Ministries,
Departments and Agencies (MDAs) to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA)
of 2011. The ranking is aimed at entrenching accountability and
transparency in public and security sector institutions by ensuring MDAs
liberate data and citizens have timely and unrestricted access to public
information. Improved disclosure practices of MDAs will positively
impact how public resources are manged and utilized as citizens would
have necessary information which would allow them to actively
participate in governance.In addition to the attached FOI Compliance Ranking Report, is a short
